If you are traveling here, we have some Curacao maps to help you pinoint the island's location and help plan your trip.
Whether you are going to do some diving while you are there, or not, you're bound to have a good time.
What's not to like about a beautiful Caribbean island?
Curacao is a nice island and is fun to explore. It has a nice downtown with lots of colorful buildings.
I can't imagine how many pictures of that downtown have been taken. It makes for a wonderful photo op.
Try out the floating bridge while you are downtown and watch it open and close to let the ships pass through.
Another good photo opportunity is the floating market downtown. Boats come over from Venezuela, Colombia and different islands to sell their wares. It makes for a good day outing.
So let's get started and explore the island.
The first of the Curacao maps pinpoints the island's location from a world's eye view.
The next map we have is to show where Curacao is located within the Caribbean (down off of Venezuela). Then we get closer and show you the highlights of island on the map.
Next is where the fun comes in - an interactive map of the island. You can zoom in on any area you are interested in - or zoom out to see the rest of the Caribbean (or the world for that matter). I always have alot of fun with this map and can easily pass away too much time.
While it is the biggest of the ABC Islands (comprised of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao), it is not huge at only 180 square miles. Still, it is more than big enough that a map of Curacao will come in handy on your trip.
This is the fun map of Curacao I talked about earlier. Just click on the arrows to zoom in on the area you want to see. When you mouse over the white squares, it gives you the place name. Give it a try, it's alot of fun!
We hope you have a great trip to Curacao. And enjoy the scuba diving if you do some while you are there.
You might find our other pages on Curacao to be helpful in your trip planning.
First up we have our general guide to Curaco with information on weather, water temperatures, hotels and much more. If you are going there to do some diving, we also review the top dive sites on the island and talk about Curacao flights here.
Enjoy and have fun!
