One of my top dives was on Mnemba Wall, Zanzibar. I dove with a small outfit off a dhow with 6 other divers.
Viz on the day was >40m. So clear the foot of the wall at more than >70m was clearly visible from the deepst part of the dive (38m). Unbelievable coral fish, nudis galore and also some seriously large green turtles.
At the top of the wall (about 12-18m) was a beautiful plateau to spend some final time before having to call it quits.
Generally Zanzibar was beautiful diving but the Mnemba Wall was better than anything I've dived worldwide.
Hi,
Thanks for that report. It's an area of the world I have never been to but I'll be putting it on my list. Would love to hear about some of your other diving adventures if you get the chance.
Thanks for letting us know about this spot. Hope you have some more great diving this year.
