Cost of Scuba Diving Lessons

by Anonymous

What is the average cost for scuba diving lessons?

Hi,

As you can imagine, this isn't a very easy question to answer as there is a wide range of prices for scuba diving lessons. It all depends on when and where you dive.

However, I do get this question quite a bit so I have written a page about it and have given some ballpark figures for the cost of scuba diving that you can use as a guide.

On this page, I also discuss the price of dive equipment and the price of a 2 tank dive as well as the cost of scuba diving certification.

To summarize, I estimate the price of getting certified to be in the $350-$450 range. This includes the course and pool work as well as 4 open water certification dives.

You can find our full entry about the cost of scuba diving here.

Hopefully that will answer your question. If you need any more information, please let me know.

Dianne
